QuickBilling runs a hosted remote MCP server at https://mcp.quickbilling.io/mcp (streamable HTTP). You add it to an MCP client that supports remote servers and sign in with your QuickBilling account.

- Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and your QuickBilling account, not an API key

- QuickBilling is operated by Solution Plus Tech Consultancy FZE, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@quickbilling.io.
- We use your data to run QuickBilling: your account, your workspaces, the invoices, estimates, expenses and income you record, and the emails you send through us.
- When you send a document as a link, QuickBilling records when and how the recipient opens it. On paid plans this includes the recipient's IP address and, if the recipient allows it in their browser, their precise location. Section 4 explains this in full.
- If you use the in-app AI assistant, or connect an AI assistant or MCP client to QuickBilling, it can read and change your QuickBilling data on your instructions. The provider of the AI model handles that data under its own privacy policy. A QuickBilling app for ChatGPT is not available yet.
- We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
- Our servers and file storage are in Sweden (EU). Our database and email service are in the United States.
- You can export your data, delete your account, revoke share links, API keys and AI connections, and contact us to exercise any of your privacy rights.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is QuickBilling free?

Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. It includes 1 workspace, 5 customers and 5 share links a month, along with invoices, estimates, recurring invoices and expense tracking. Upgrade to Premium or Unlimited when you need more.

### Which plan should I choose?

Start on Free. Move to Premium ($15 a month) when you have more than 5 clients, send more than 5 invoice links a month, or want your own branding and full link tracking. Choose Unlimited ($30 a month) if you run several businesses, work with a larger team or need API access.

### What happens when I reach a limit on the Free plan?

Nothing you have created is deleted. You just can't add more of that item, such as a sixth customer, until you upgrade. After a downgrade, workspaces beyond your plan are locked rather than deleted, and open again when you upgrade. Free share links reset on the 1st of each month, and sharing the same invoice again doesn't count twice. The Subscription page in the app shows how close you are to each limit.

### How does billing work?

Paid plans are charged in US dollars, monthly or yearly, by card through Stripe Checkout. Paying yearly costs 10% less. Your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

### Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel from Subscription in the app or in the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges, you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account moves to Free with your data intact. If you were charged in the last 7 days, you may be eligible for a refund.

### Do my clients need an account?

No. Clients open your invoice or estimate from a link and can download the PDF, accept or decline an estimate, or tell you they've paid an invoice, all without signing up. You get an email when they respond.

### How does invoice link tracking work?

Every invoice or estimate you share as a link records each visit. On Free you see whether, when and how often it was viewed. Premium and Unlimited add the viewer's IP address, approximate location, device and browser, and their precise location if they allow it in the browser.

### Can I send estimates and turn them into invoices?

Yes. Send an estimate (a quote) as a link or a PDF. Your client can accept or decline it without an account, and you convert an accepted estimate into an invoice in one step, with every line item carried over.

### Does QuickBilling track expenses?

Yes, on every plan. Log expenses with receipts, vendors and categories, set budgets, and see income and expenses together in profit and loss and tax reports. You can also start with an expenses-only workspace and add invoicing later.

### Which languages and currencies are supported?

The app and this website are available in English, German, French and Spanish. You can invoice in 41 currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR and AED, with a default currency per workspace that you can change on any invoice.

### Can I connect AI assistants or my own code?

Yes. QuickBilling has an AI assistant inside the app on every plan (30 messages a day on Free), a hosted MCP server that Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients can connect to with your QuickBilling sign-in, and a REST API with an OpenAPI spec. API keys come with the Unlimited plan. A ChatGPT app is coming soon.

### Where is my data stored, and how is it protected?

Our servers and file storage are in Sweden (EU), and our database and email provider are in the United States. All connections use HTTPS, stored data is encrypted at rest, and every request is checked against your role in the workspace. We don't sell personal data or use your content to train AI models.

### Can I export my data?

Yes. Download a JSON export of your account from Settings, Account, Export my data, including workspaces, billing profiles, customers and invoices. Expenses and income are not in that file, but they export to CSV, as do invoice lists, reports and customer statements. On Unlimited the REST API gives you programmatic access.

### Are recurring invoices sent automatically?

No. A recurring invoice creates a draft on your schedule, and you review and send it yourself. Recurring invoices are on every plan.

### Can clients pay by card from the invoice link?

Not yet. Card payments are in development. Today you add bank details or a payment link such as PayPal to a billing profile, and clients can mark an invoice as paid for you to confirm.

### How is QuickBilling different from Wave or Zoho Invoice?

QuickBilling focuses on getting invoices opened and paid rather than on full accounting. You see when each invoice is opened, clients never need a portal login, expenses live in the same workspace, and the API and MCP server let you automate the routine work. If you need double-entry bookkeeping or payroll, a full accounting suite is the better fit.
